Jordan Fouts is a recent graduate of the University of Arizona School of Theatre, Film, and Television. After four years of study, she has earned her BFA in Film and Television Production as well as a minor in the French language. Due to her military upbringing, Jordan made multiple cross-country moves in which she grew an appreciation for exploring the world and spending time outdoors before moving to Tucson, Arizona in 2017. During her time at the University of Arizona, Jordan held multiple arts/media positions, such as the Public Communications Director of 501(c)(3) non-profit organization Giving A Little Arizona Magic (2023-2025), editing intern at Crown Chimp Media (2024), and Study Abroad Social Media Ambassador for the Arizona In Paris program (2022). Also in that four years, Jordan directed, shot, and edited three short films, one of which has entered and earned festival circuit acclaim at venues such as the 2025 San Diego International Children's Film Festival and the 2024 Beyond Entertainment Family Film Festival. Through her studies, she discovered a particular interest in the camera - experimenting with the ways in which she could capture both the big and small marvels of the world through her cinematography and still photography. She also specializes in video and still editing, as well as digital marketing and social media content creation. Outside of her own personal projects, she has collaborated with independent clients to bring their commercial and artistic visions to life: one notable example being her work co-directing and editing the WYR (Would You Rather) music video for indie band Tonight's Sunshine.
Her artistic endeavors do not stop behind the camera, however. Along with filmmaking, Jordan is an aspiring singer/songwriter and actress - having released multiple singles while also starring in many on-stage musical productions and other forms of live entertainment with companies such as Arts Express, Stories that Soar, and Arizona Musical Theater Orchestra. Notable roles include Frenchie in "Grease", Mal in "Disney's Descendants", Anybodys in "West Side Story", and Jovie Understudy in "Elf". As for her music, in 2023 she released her first single and corresponding music video "Kaleidoscope Fantasies". In 2024 she followed it up with two more singles: "California" and "Mourning Dove". Her self-produced, debut album - "Nostalgia" - is set to release later this year.
Now that she has graduated, Jordan hopes to find work in the film and television industry, where she can continue her creative pursuits both behind and in front of the camera.
